Vote on Question of Salary Freeze

The ballots on the question as to whether the union should vote on a salary freeze were opened at 9:00 am on July 30th as predetermined by the TTA Executive Board. In attendance were President Mark Walsh, Vice-President Ann Apicella, Secretary Marie Miklic, Former Membership Chair Rhonda Hermance and Former President Seth Cohen.

Three hundred eighty ballots were returned with two being deemed invalid for not following the voting procedures. The final count on the ballots was one hundred twelve yes votes and two hundred sixty seven no votes.

The number of  votes counted is approximately 80% of the membership. The election committee was pleased that such a large number of members responded to this very important question and want to thank all that participated.

If any members who were laid off have questions please contact any one of the officers.
